Sexy Shaped Low Back Chair - 'Maquette'

Join me, as I complete a scale model of a low back chair I am designing. Followers of my blog (www.womadeod.co.uk) will have seen my progress on this chair, and now I have decided to include it's build in my videos.

Sexy shaped furniture with flowing curves and sculptured details can be hard to model in CAD packages. Building a scale model could be faster, and can highlight both technical and aesthetic design issues, before you commit hours of work, or break into some expensive lumber.

Watch out for future videos on the chair, as I build a full size prototype and, assuming that is successful, a beautiful show piece chair.
