Alan Avery Art Company brings to Atlanta a monumental exhibition by American Master / American Regionalist , Thomas Hart Benton, in "Lonesome Road", Works from the Estate.
The exhibition features 26 paintings, watercolors, drawings and lithographs concentrating on compositions depicting African American rural life during his time. Gallery Owner Avery, at age 9, saved up enough money working in his uncle's tobacco fields to buy his first Benton. Representing and exhibiting works from the estate brings his career and life full circle.
