This is the Niesmann and Bischoff 76L luxury motorhome filmed at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf in August 2014. This van costs around EUR130,000 and for that money you get the luxury you are paying for!
The special feature of the new Arto is its versatility, thanks to specially customised solutions that go beyond the limits of the familiar flexible interior design of previous models. In addition to the traditional metallic paint, it is possible to add individual accents. From 2015, for example, there will be numerous trendy colours to choose from in the "Arto Individual" range, with options from partial film coatings on the side skirt or mirrors to a complete painted finish. Niesmann+Bischoff are offering an optional ClouLine design including a black-painted radiator grille complete with chrome applications, protruding side windows by the driver and passenger seats with chrome details and decorative chrome features on the front headlights and rear panel. This design is also available with a champagne-coloured paint.
The highlight of the 2015 Flair model is that it is arguably the most "automotive" motorhome in the upmarket liner category. The most striking feature of this vehicle's progressive design is its top-class integrative concept, with the front, sides and rear forming a self-contained unit. Horizontal lines of light are now used to lend structure to the vehicle's flanks, while the convex-concave profile continues into the front and rear sections. Bevelled edges create a fascinating play of light, giving the Flair a sense of elegance that makes a real impression on the road. The characteristic style of the Polch-based brand is retained, while the line has been developed further and enhanced with special details that are already proving a hit on the Arto. Examples include the reversing camera cleverly hidden behind the brand logo, where it is protected against dirt, and the exclusive combination of daytime running lights and blinker, which have already become distinctive features of the Arto's eye-catching look. In addition to enhanced torsion resistance, the new double floor design offers better insulation. The undercarriage is made up of a 48-millimetre two-sided aluminium sandwich and a walking floor 42 millimetres thick. The core layer contains RTM foam and hard strips of PU for reinforcement.
Other premium features that differentiate the old Flair from the new model include the high-quality, practical and fully insulated chassis hatches, which are very well integrated into the aesthetic design. The hatches, which are held in place by pneumatic springs, also have a double locking mechanism that can be operated with one hand. All installations in the double floor – from the air conditioning unit to the gas tank and glass bottle crate – are positioned in a user-friendly arrangement behind the new chassis hatches. The water tank is also installed in a way that offers easy access for servicing and replacement as required. Another advantage is that the volume of the fresh water tank has been increased by 70 litres, offering now a capacity of 370 litres. The Flair also features an impressive new dashboard design, with an elegant leather look on the cover and side storage box, while the comfort and adjustment functionality of the seating have been improved. The table is not only extendible; it can be turned and shifted too to make it multifunctional. The new Flair is now available to order with eight-gear automatic transmission.
