A very interesting Autumn Sunday at MAN. Weather was essentially perfect with plenty of sun, light cloud, a nice westerly crosswind and plenty of spray creating some excellent condensation and spray effects from departing aircraft.
Plenty of decent movements today also, including the Evelop A330-300, Lufthansa new livery A319 & Star Alliance A321, Etihad 787-10, & Man City livery 787-9, American 767, Air Transat new livery A330, Pegasus 737, Sunwing old & new livery 737, Air France A318 and a Smartlynx A321.
The most interesting part of the day came about 52:10 in the video. Ryanair EI-FRI appeared to fly through a number of birds over the threshold, which meant a runway inspection was needed. This prompted ATC to instruct the Qatar A350 to make a visual switch onto Runway 23L which looked awesome, unfortunately this option wasn't available for the easyJet behind them from Venice and they had to go around.
