In this video, I return to the Thames Path. This is a (very) long-term project whereby I am trying to walk to the source of the River Thames. From the Thames Barrier (the official end of the national trail), it is approximately 184 miles to the start near Kemble, Gloucestershire. When will I get to the source? One year? TWO years? Who knows?! So far I have walked about 27 miles and it has been fascinating discovering the changing scenery around the river. I was born in Hammersmith so it was especially nice to walk through my birthplace! This so far this has been a very manageable walk to complete in sections: six miles here, five miles there. There are lots of train stations to hop on and off of which really helps. A highly recommended trail for Londoners.
Note: Thames Barrier to The London Eye was completed before I set up the Londoner Outdoors channel, but here are some links to photos - to prove that I actually did it!
