Integrating the Eastern and Western music, the song derives from an improvised performance by the pipa player Zhao Cong and the Spanish orchestra while waiting for the China Night concert during the 2012 London Olympics. Later, Zhao Cong and the young composer Yin Tianhu adapted the music piece by adopting the pipa and the string quartet. Meanwhile, the fusion of the Spanish, Chinese, and Argentinean musical styles added to the color of the work and made it free, romantic, and passionate.
