First time flying business in PAL's Airbus A350 from Manila NAIA to New York JFK, what to expect!
Why I made this "video", sure it's just a bunch of pictures in a PowerPoint :D.
However, when I went to look up the flight because I won an upgrade bid (yes you can bid the lowest amount and still win(!)), I was very curious as to which seats to pick and whether the extra $ amount was worth it. (Yes, totally worth it). A lot of times I would have to pause the videos I came across at just the right time just to get a good look, hence the picture format.
My main goal was that I needed to assist my daughter and how accessible the seats were to each other. In the end, I decided on opposite aisle seats for this purpose. She also likes and needs her own space so that corner spot was perfect for her and minimized interactions with other passengers.
And if you're thinking of the cost (as I was), I was reminded of this quote from James Clear's Atomic Habits newsletter -
Sasha Aickin, former CTO at Redfin, shares some financial advice from his grandmother:
"When you buy something cheap and bad, the best you’re going to feel about it is when you buy it. When you buy something expensive and good, the worst you’re going to feel about it is when you buy it."
