No.4 Light Engine built in 1947 by the LMS.
No.4 was operated by NCC and even NIR in its later days on the spoil trains until its last run alongside its sister engine No.53 on the 2nd May 1970.
She has since ran as one of the RPSI's key locomotives with No.4 being one of the favorites by the crew and passengers alike.
No.4 is being overhauled now at Whitehead and will return to steam in due course over the next few years.
