Guided Meditation + Astrology + Spiritual Wisdom for the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer on the Solstice: June 21, 2020


Hello beautiful world,

Deep emotions are rising up as we flow into Cancer season. On June 18th, Mercury went retrograde into the murky waters of Cancer, and on Sunday, June 21, 2020, the sun and moon will cross paths in Cancer with a new moon solar eclipse. This powerful cosmic event also falls on the solstice - a turning point in our seasons.

Also coinciding with this astro-packed weekend are Father's Day and Juneteenth (the day that we celebrate the emancipation of slaves in America).

Yes, the intensity of these events is huge! So much is changing right now in the world - and I believe it's all changing for the better.

Both the solstice and the solar eclipse open up portals of change and awakening where we can jump into new timelines and realities. In order to rise up into a higher consciousness, we have some emotional clearing to do.

With the sun, moon, and Mercury retrograde dancing through the water sign of Cancer, we are coming into contact with our deepest sensitivity and vulnerability. Cancer represents the divine mother, family, the home, and the inner well of emotion. Cancer is depicted as a crab - so soft on the inside, it needs a hard shell and pinchers for protection.

As we are doing this deep emotional work that Cancer offers us, it's okay to feel that we need to shield our energy, seek space and solitude, and give ourselves time to process and unwind. In fact, the journey of diving into our own depths results in discovering the greatest support we could ever lean on - that of our higher selves.

In this pandemic state of the world, we are already being asked to be alone, get space, and go within. And now with Cancer's energy calling us into our inner realms of emotion, we will learn how to provide the comfort and support that we need. We will do the healing work in our hearts that helps us stand in our highest purpose and show up with our light. When each of us can support our own hearts, we can bring our strength into the world and become a better support for others.
