As Spirit-filled Believers, we must remember that we are given a command to “be filled with the Spirit,” which is to allow the Spirit to fill us with Himself and to let the Word of Christ live in us richly in all wisdom (Ephesians 5:18; Colossians 3:16). We cannot fill ourselves; as Believers in Christ, we must allow the Spirit to fill us because it is God who is doing His work in us to will and to do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).
