Here's a glimpse of what training looks like for Peace Corps volunteers. This particular training is caled In Service Training (IST) and takes place after 3 months at site. It's a 10 day mix of various topics and sessions, including a chance to bring a community member to participate as well! Take a look and let me know in the comments what surprises you.
I’m an education volunteer with Peace Corps Guinea who’s interested in using media to tell people’s stories. Part of my job as a volunteer includes addressing Peace Corps’ third goal, which involves educating others about Guineans.
