Familia Martínez Bujanda´s passion for wine arrives in the second half of the last decade to the Denominación de Origen Rueda (Valladolid, Castilla y León), at the time an emerging wine area dedicated to the elaboration of quality white wines with the personality of an indigenous grape, the Verdejo. Familia Martínez Bujanda cultivates the Verdejo grape exclusively at Finca Montepedroso, with the aim to elaborate one of the best wines of the area and to represent the real spirit of Rueda.
