Meet David Sabio, a medical illustrator from Garner, North Carolina, who battled with undiagnosed symptoms for years. Despite seeking medical care and undergoing numerous tests, his condition remained a mystery. Discouraged, he decided to give up on finding a diagnosis for several years. However, in late 2020, his symptoms worsened, and medical professionals struggled to pinpoint the cause. Feeling like a burden, David's wife encouraged him to persevere, leading to his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer at the age of 48 in early 2021.
