UNBOXING First Alert ATOM SMOKE and FIRE Detector
New micro design is fantastic!
Now is perfect time to start thinking about replacement of your current smoke, fire or smoke and fire detectors. Life humans these devices have a lifespan. Spring is best time to update or replace batteries.
A typical lifespan for smoke detectors is five to ten years depending on model. Batteries should be replaced once a year whether needed or not. Safety for you and your family should be priority. An ounce of prevention is worth saving you and yours life(s)? Right!
Plan for the worst today and hope for the best.
Only thing to make this better is if it sported a CO2 detector. I would definitely love to see CO2 detector in the next revision.
These new Smoke & Fire detectors are far superior to previous models.
ATOM is unobtrusive, battery life 10 years, very loud siren, flashes once per minute informing its active.
You should replace your detectors every tens for your own safety whether battery is good or not..
