The 2024 Gibraltar Cultural Awards, held on Thursday night at the Sunborn Hotel and broadcast live by GBC, recognised outstanding contributions to the arts and culture.
The public helped short-list nominees and vote for the winners.
Fourteen-year-old filmmaker Arianna Gianani won the Junior Award for her short film Love Grace, which triumphed in the GBC Short Film Competition and the Marbella International Film Festival.
Seventeen-year-old artist Stella Bosano received the Youth Award after excelling in multiple disciplines.
The Senior Award was shared by actress Erica McGrail, winner of Best Performance at the 2024 UK National Drama Festival, and dancer Nicole Valverde, who performs internationally with stars like Lenny Kravitz and Andrea Bocelli.
Women of Gibraltar by Claire Montado won Best Educational Project for profiling local women from the Neanderthal era to today.
The Cultural Ambassador Award went to musician Adrian Pisarello for his heartfelt songwriting about life in Gibraltar.
Monica Popham earned the Extraordinary Achievement Award after winning the 2024 Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year.
The DSA Sequence dance Club received the Special Recognition Award for enriching the community over the last 70 years.
Broadcaster and musician Richard Cartwright received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his decades of contributions to Gibraltarian culture.
