Radiologist Christopher Garcia, MD describes creating a structured radiology report on the vRad system by simply dictating the positive findings and hitting Process Report. “I don’t have to worry about history, contrast dose, technique…all that’s automatically done.”
Dictation is done without a handheld mic or keyboard to avoid distraction—keeping the radiologist’s eyes on the images. Reports are auto formatted with findings categorized by organ system, impression, history, etc. so referring physicians can quickly find what they need in the report.
