Facebook Monetization 2023: There are only six and a half ways to make money on Facebook. In this video, I'm going to detail each one: providing a brief description, outlining specific eligibility requirements, and explaining the payment model so you can gauge their earning potential and determine if they're worth your time.

Before diving into the monetization methods, let's review the general requirements for all Facebook monetization. You must:

Comply with Facebook's partner monetization and content monetization policies.
Reside in an eligible country.
Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid payment method.
📍 Stars: Think of stars as digital pennies. Viewers can give these to you when they appreciate your content, wish to support you, or simply want to show their admiration. To qualify for stars, you need 500 followers for 30 consecutive days.

📍 Facebook Ads on Reels: Currently, there's no set criteria to qualify. It's an invite-only program, both on Facebook and Instagram. The term "ads on reels" is somewhat misleading. Originally, ad revenue was shared with creators, but now it operates on a pay-per-view model. The payout is at Facebook's discretion, meaning earnings vary among creators.

📍 In-Stream Ads: These ads are placed in videos longer than one minute on Facebook that aren't Reels. Ads can appear at the start, middle, or end of videos, and you get a share of the ad revenue. Eligibility requires at least 5,000 followers and either 60,000 minutes or 1,000 hours of watch time in the past 60 days. Additionally, you must have at least five active videos on your profile, with a minimum of three being live videos.

📍 In-Stream Ads for Live Videos: This method involves Facebook placing ads on your live streams. To be eligible, you need:

10,000 followers.
600,000 minutes or 10,000 watch hours overall.
60,000 of those minutes or 1,000 watch hours should be from live videos.
5 active videos on your page.
At least three live videos in the past 90 days.
📍 Brand Collabs Manager: Though not part of the "6.5" methods, it's worth mentioning. It allows you to monetize by collaborating with brands that pay for content promotion or partnership.

📍 Subscriptions: This method lets you have more control over your earnings. You can enroll Facebook followers in a monthly payment model for exclusive content or privileges. Eligibility criteria include having 10,000 followers and either 50,000 engagements or 180,000 minutes (3,000 hours) viewed.

📍 Facebook Performance Bonus: This method has immense earning potential, maxing out at $30,000 monthly. Some creators, with large and dedicated followings, have achieved this. Currently, it's invite-only. However, to possibly secure an invitation, consider completing all levels in your dashboard, posting content, and growing your following.

📍 Challenges (the "half" method): Occasionally nested within the performance bonus, Facebook might issue challenges. For instance, they might offer an extra $800 bonus for earning $7,200 during a specific period.
