The dance is done by the students of Sri Rama Nataka Niketan Kalki to celebrate the arrival of kal yuga led by KALKI, who is the prophesied tenth avatar of Lord Vishnu in Hindu mythology, destined to appear at the end of the Kali Yuga era to restore dharma and bring about a new era of peace and harmony. He is often depicted as a warrior riding a white horse, wielding a sword and bringing justice to the world. Kalki's arrival is believed to mark the beginning of a new cycle of creation, renewal, and spiritual awakening.
