The Occidental Nuevo is an all-inclusive resort about 20 minutes North of Puerto Vallarta in an area called Nuevo Vallarta. Puerto Vallarta itself is one of the world’s hot travel destinations and Nuevo Vallarta is growing increasingly popular!
After doing a ton of research on Costco Travel, we decided booking an all-inclusive resort was worth the extra investment after feeling like we were on the sidelines travelwise during the past 2 years of Covid. It was worth the investment to have food and drink already paid for so we could focus on reconnecting with ourselves and venture into the surrounding region on reasonably priced tours without breaking the bank.
