Palak Channa recipe
Plan 1 kg boiled and shaken
White chickpeas half kg boiled
Chicken boneless if needed
Take 2 chopped onions and sauté in oil. Once brown, add ginger garlic paste and cook for a while. Now add all the khatay masalay which include green cardamom, corriander powder, zeera powder, cinamon stick, tez pata, black pepper whole, cloves, and red pepper dried. Cook for a while and now add tomatoes. After cooking for a minute or two, add salt, red pepper powder, turmeric powder, rai seeds, hing powder and mix well. At this point adding chicken is optional. If you want to add chicken, then cook it for a while and cook chicken fully. Otherwise we will add boiled spinach which is half shaken as well. Mix well. Cook for some time and then add boiled chickpeas. Now add half cup milk, 1 tsp dried fenugreek powder and cover it. Let it cook for 25-30 minutes. When the oil comes on top, it is ready to serve.
Serve with boiled rice or naan.
