Once again, I join my friend of nearly 50 years on a 6 day tour of Lake Temagami. I love this region as the largely coniferous forests and visible Precambrian rock give it a wild feel. Couple this with the clear water lakes, comparatively shorter portages and it is a canoeing paradise. On day 1 Frank started ahead of me and so it wa a solo paddle for me from my car at the put-in to the camp on Cross Lake. A day of nice weather with a gorgeous campsite at the end.
