A new law has been passed in Parliament to help companies adapt and transit to a low-carbon economy. It will see current tax support expanded to include investments in equipment that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The qualifying period for the scheme will also be extended to December 2026. MPs have welcomed the change, but they also asked if it would be enough to encourage businesses to reduce their carbon footprint.
