(19 Sep 2019) British Prime Minister Boris Johnson met Thursday with military leaders at 10 Downing Street to discuss defence funding and spending.
Among those who attended the meeting were the Chief of Defence Staff Sir Nick Carter as well as the heads of the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.
The meeting comes after Chancellor Sajid Javid's announcement of 2.2 billion pounds (2.75 billion US dollars) funding boost for the Ministry of Defence earlier this month.
