Salvia is the largest genus of plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae, with nearly 1000 species of shrubs, herbaceous, perennials and annuals.Within the Lamiaceae, Salvia is part of the tribe Mentheae within the subfamily Nepetoideae.
Salvia species include annual, biennial or perennial herbs along with woody subshrubs. The stems are typically angled like other members in Lamiaceae. The leaves are typically entire but sometimes toothed or pinnately divided. The flowering stems bear small bracts, dissimilar to the basal leave in some species the bracts are ornamental and showy.
Nehru Park, Delhi is a large park situated in the Chanakyapuri Diplomatic Enclave of New Delhi. Named after India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, the park is spread over an area of 80 acres (320,000 m2) close to the heart of the city, and was established in 1969.
