Professor Berinderjeet Kaur introduces the concrete-pictorial-abstract (CPA) approach to teaching Maths. She discusses the benefits of this approach to achieve Mastery, and how teachers can implement it in the classroom.

Oxford Secondary have worked closely with Singapore Mastery experts to create a UK KS3 version of their most popular series, ‘Discovering Mathematics’. During a visit to the UK, we took the opportunity to sit down with the Singapore Consultant for the series, Professor Berinderjeet Kaur, Professor of Mathematics Education at the National Institute of Education in Singapore.
