Interail locomotive 42206 is seen at the Dynon Freight yards (Melbourne) preparing to attach to container wagons delivered earlier in the morning by a QR National (QRN) freight train. In this scene we see the locomotive running light engine as it gets into position ready to pick up more wagons.

Interail is part of QR National railways.

The 422 Class were delivered to their original owners, the New South Wales Government Railways during 1969 & 1970. The locomotive has an EMD 16-645E engine and features a drivers cab on both ends of the locomotive, a feature that became common on NSW locomotives for the next 30 years. .
