How can Francis Chan promote a conference (The Send) led by men who are prosperity preachers (Benny Hinn, Todd White, Bill Johnson, etc.), when he himself rejects the prosperity gospel?
Some say that Todd White doesn't believe or promote the prosperity gospel, but that is not the case. Here's the full context:

Francis Chan: [ Ссылка ]
Todd believes that it's always God's will that we are healed and are wealthy. Yes, he warns against the idolatry of those things but so does Creflo Dollar, etc. But he is still adding to the gospel a promise that isn't promised in this life, and using that to attract sinners. In his own words, his views on prosperity comes from his mentor Kenneth Copeland.
Todd's method of "evangelism by blessing" is to pray for healing, or to bless people with money, followed by "Jesus loves you." He never brings in the law of God (which exposes sin and shows a need for a Savior), the attributes of God (that He is both righteous, just, & gracious and loving) which shows sinners that they are enemies with God.
Todd teaches the "spiritual death of Jesus" doctrine taught by other Word of Faith / prosperity teachers like Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, etc. (Jesus went to hell, suffered in hell at the hands of demons, died spiritually, and was born again). This doctrine says that Jesus had to continue paying for our sins in hell, rendering Jesus' statement at the cross, "It is finished"- a lie. It is also impossible for the Son of God to cease being God (dying spiritually), because God cannot cease to be God.
Todd denies the deity of Christ in the incarnation (like Kenneth Copeland, Dan Mohler, Bill Johnson, etc... kenotic theology), which is an essential aspect of the gospel. He teaches that Jesus emptied himself of all divinity, wasn't here as God, and didn't live His sinless life, do miracles, or die on the cross as God... but as a man in right relationship with God (a man with the Holy Spirit like us). The true gospel requires that Jesus is the GodMan- truly and fully God, and truly and fully man, in order to be our mediator. Essentially Todd teaches that man accomplished our salvation, not God, and that man is "on-par" with Jesus. This is classic Word of Faith doctrine, which deifies man and demotes Christ (based on E.W. Kenyon's teaching that "the believer is as much of an incarnation as was Jesus of Nazareth."). Kenotic theology is outside of Christian orthodoxy (heresy).
