New Quay is a hotspot for one of Wales' most fascinating marine mammals, bottlenose #dolphins and here at the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre (CBMWC) our marine conservation team are hoping to find out more.
Just what is it about New Quay that makes the area such a hotspot for these animals and why is the area so important to them?
We explored Llanina reef in New Quay bay in July 2021 and this video showcases some of the amazing marine life found on the seabed below the waves!
ROVanna, a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) joined the CBMWC team here in New Quay, Wales in 2021. We are fortunate to have received this fantastic piece of equipment thanks to Wildlife Conservation Society and Sofar Ocean.
