NaNoWriMo: 50,000 new words for a new writing project in just 30 days. That's a lot of work, but if you've decided you want to give it a go this year, welcome! I'm so so so excited you want to join the writing community in this way. You might be really excited, too, but maybe a little overwhelmed. What does a NaNoWriMo newbie need to know?
I have several tips for both NaNo newbies as well as people who might have tried NaNo in the past and not been able to win. I've completed NaNo four years in the past and will be going for my fifth win this year! So I'm not an expert or anything...but I have been around the block a time or two (or four!) 😉 These eight tips will hopefully help you feel confident and ready to tackle the NaNoWriMo challenge in 2020!
IN THE COMMENTS! Let us know if you've signed up for NaNo this year for the first time. If you're a returning winner, feel free to share your best tips and advice for the newbies out there!
