The SVR Spring Diesel Festival is an aptly named "Festival" of Diesel heritage traction, celebrating 50 years of preservation of diesel locomotives, with SVRs own Class 42 Warship locomotive, D821 "Greyhound", being the first mainline diesel locomotive sold for preservation in the UK. Greyhound and many other locomotives are seen over the course of the three days I spent near Kidderminster (18th - 20th May 2023), both old and new.
