New technology can literally rewire our brains to helps us deal with stress.
It’s called bilateral alternating somatosensory stimulation. A triple blind placebo-controlled trial with athletes showed that it stabilized cortisol levels during stressful events, and reduced the level of stress points even when cortisol would typically spike.
It helps to break the cycle of stress by shifting from your "fight or flight" sympathetic nervous system to your logical, peaceful parasympathetic nervous system, and all you need to do is place these devices on your wrist. The inception of these devices came after CEO, Vicki Mayo desperately wanted to help her child who was suffering from night terrors. It’s similar to the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), where people tap certain acupressure points on the body while working through specific emotions.
