What is a Pastry Roller? What does it do? and what is it for?
Pastry rollers, sometimes known as dough sheeters, laminators or pastry brakes are a mainstay in the majority of modern bakeries and catering environments. With their ability to quickly sheet or pin out dough and pastry to consistent thicknesses, they can be found in the production area of every back street to large commercial bakery.
In this video we discuss the basic principles and have a look at how they work, in order to see what is a pastry roller? and what does a pastry roller do?
We filmed this as we tested our Rondo SFA64 machine in order to help answer those questions.
