Welcome to Snowdonia National Park in North Wales! In this video we visit arguably the most beautiful part of the UK and spend a weekend making the perfect Snowdonia itinerary.
We start our weekend in North Wales by climbing up Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). At 1,085 metres tall, this mountain has spectacular hikes and we chose to walk up it on the Pyg track. It was quite busy at the top but the views of the lakes and surrounding national park made it worth it. We even managed to find time to have a swim in the lake below the summit. Our route back down the mountain took us through the Pen-y-Pass but disaster struck when we reached the bottom...
The next day we briefly stopped off in the lovely little village of Llanwrst before heading to Zip World at Llechwedd Slate Caverns. Whilst here we played some underground crazy golf before learning how to zipline around the caverns. The Caverns course was one of the most fun experiences of my life so I'd definitely put that at the top of your list for your Snowdonia itinerary.
Our final morning was spent visiting the famous village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. I still have no idea how to say the name but at least I've got my mate Freddie around to tell us how it's pronounced. We then finished our weekend at Llanddwyn Beach which was a great little spot for a walk.
All in all, Snowdonia has done it again for me. It's easily my favourite place to visit in the UK and I can't wait to go back again in the future. Thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one.
