So I was making the mistake of thinking the MOPAR instructions for the Homelink device were built in two separate steps, one for just older garage door openers (non rolling code) and the new ones, rolling code. little did i know, if you have a rolling code opener, you have to program it first like it is a non rolling code opener and then as the rolling code opener. Hopefully this helps you! I am sure this Homelink is on many MOPAR trucks and cars such as the Dodge Ram, Caravan, Charger, Gladiator JT, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Wrangler JL and JLU, Chrysler, etc. I hope this helps you, i just could not figure out what i was doing wrong...
