Autumn is my favourite season, I like the slow process of change especially when green leaves slowly turn to vivid colours, then to brown, hang on for a while then slowly fall to create a colourful blanket on the ground. The temperature also slowly drops so with the shortening of daylight, the golden autumnal light shines and chases the twilight.
Autumn is best experience at Thorp Perrow Aboretum in the North of England. The aboretum covers 100 acres and is currently home to 5 National Collections and 67 Champion Trees.
