Track car or Daily Driver? 100,000 mile 2006 Lotus Elise | Throdle
Would you make a 100,000 mile 2006 Lotus Elise your track car or daily driver? Join Nadine and Throdle app member Rahul as they drive across the Golden Gate Bridge and talk about his favorite parts and niggles of being an Elise owner.
Rahul recounts his Fernley Race Track story where he spun out badly and even ended up featured in a car magazine with all that dust! As an avid race car enthusiast he's taken his Lotus Elise to several tracks including Thunderhill Raceway Park, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Circuit of Americas and even Circuit de Spa. He's even put a unique memorial to his racing experiences on his Lotus.
As a serial Lotus owner and a member of the long standing Golden Gate Lotus Club Rahul got invited to the famous Lotus factory in the UK for a dinner with the Senior Executives. He shows us the carbon fiber panel he took with him and shows us who signed it. This car has such great hidden easter eggs for Lotus lovers.
Want to get in touch with Rahul and go racing with him on the track? Contact him at @RahulNair and check out the other Lotuses he's owned on the Throdle App!
Watch BONUS videos of Rahul as he tells us more about his visit to the Lotus factory, how he got the car, and some of the fun things the Golden Gate Lotus Club does.
