Astrophotography Imaging of the Orion Nebula from city skies with my RASA 8 telescope and ZWO ASI1600MM Pro! You don't need dark skies to get an image of M42, the Orion Nebula. From light polluted skies, you just need plenty of integration time.
In this video I collect enough data to get a great start on a project of imaging the Orion Nebula from Chicago in broadband RGB.
I also cover some of the light pollution issues in my location from streetlights. I also spot some geosynchronous satellites (not Starlink) as the images come in.

Photographs of the universe, with galaxies, stars, nebulae, supernovas, comets, planets, Moon, Sun. Inspiring wonder about the night sky, even from the light pollution of Chicago.
