In technical documentation it is noted that metal can interfere with the signal robot mowers use to designate the yard boundaries (it's like an invisible dog fence). Here the Ambrogio Twenty Elite S+ perimeter wire is installed next to aluminum edging with no signal issues detected at all.
Different results might be seen if the wire is layed closer to the edging, if the edging is a different type of metal, if the ground is compressed if different elements., or if the wire is very long. it is encouraging to know that some installations will have no issues at all.
