FM 1612 ANSI AWWA C900 PVC PVC-UH Pipe Online Hydro Testers are designed to safely test PVC water main pipe lengths in accordance with the requirements of the American Water Works Association FM 1612, Specification AWWA C900.
1.Hydrostatic proof test. Only one time testing each pipe for a minimum of 5 seconds for a hydrostatic proof test at 3.2 times the pressure class. 2. Quick Burst Test. One time testing every 24 hr during a test time of 60 to 70 seconds. The equipment is installed in the end of the line catch every pipe and seal the pipe and do a test for seconds at the 2 times or 3.2 times work pressure of the pipe.

This pipe conforms to AWWA C900-07 and FM 1612; Pressure Class 165 psi (DR 25), 235 psi (DR 18)*; 305 psi (DR 14)*; for sizes 4" - 48" in diameter.
