We go to see a colony of blue herons nesting at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, BC, Canada. The reserve is home to blue herons, painted turtles, beaver, river otters, and so many other species of wildlife, and the trails lead you through this diverse ecosystem. We were pretty excited to see so many herons flying, hunting, and in their nests.
