BK Adventure does bioluminescence tours in Cocoa Beach, Titusville, and various locations around Florida. The tours involve kayaking, rafting or paddle boarding through the glowing water and also finding bioluminescent creatures called comb jellies.
People think the only time to see bioluminescence is in the summer, but you can actually see it the whole year. In this video, Sandra BK explains about the magical comb jellies that call the Indian River lagoon home. The summer bioluminescence features glowing algae. Watch near to the end of this video and you will see dolphins light up neon blue as the swim in the bioluminescent plankton.
