Maggie Riley, Boundless’s Immigration Lawyer and Policy Analyst, gives a brief update on the current situation with the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
As of March 28, 2022, we’re still waiting for a final ruling to be released. The Department of Homeland Security, or DHS, has been collecting public comments since last September and is now sorting through them. We’re hoping to have a ruling before the 2022 November midterm elections, if not sooner.
