Green MEP Bas Eickhout discusses a possible agreement on Technology Trasnfer to developing countries. The text of the agreement is almost finalised, however, it still needs to be adopted this coming Friday.
The most important part of he agreement is the establishment of a Climate Technology Centre. With 20 experts, this Centre will provide assistance to developing countries in exploiting and developing technology to help them develop while reducing emissions and to adapt to the effects of climate change. But only if the text is adopted.
