Have You Ever Seen A Railroad Bridge This Huge?! The Big Four Bridge Is A Concrete Bridge Over 200 Feet Tall & 783 Feet Long! Watch 2 CSX Trains Cross This Gigantic Bridge That Was Built In 1923. 2 More CSX freight trains are seen in downtown Troy, Ohio. 4 Trains In All!
The bridge is an open spandrel arch bridge over the Great Miami River and city streets. It was built by the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St Louis Railway. The bridge has 5 spans and 5 people were killed during construction of the bridge. Unreliable rumours report that there is still a worker encased in the pier next to Main Street. CSX trains use 160.800 to call out the signals on this line. The track runs east and west.
Next, we traveled a short distance south to Troy, Ohio to film a couple of CSX freights running in the downtown area. Best frequency here is 160.230. Old Baltimore & Ohio Railroad signals are still in use on this north south line that runs between Cincinnati and Toledo, Ohio.
