The UN’s top climate official, along with some Australian business leaders, have called for the Australian government to adopt a “zero emissions” policy. It’s something several countries around the world have already done – committing to reducing their net carbon emissions to nothing in the next few decades. We look at how that could happen and what it’s effects might be.
