Today we will be making another Chinese Bakery inspired pastry! The amazing Pineapple Bun 菠蘿包! ⊂◉‿◉つ
I used the Tangzhong method like usual. Some ingredients are different from my other bread recipes. It’s much more soft and chewy!

Do you know why it is called a Pineapple Bun? It’s not because it is Pineapple flavored and it doesn't contain Pineapples. It’s because the topping looks like a Pineapple! (●⌒∇⌒●) This is one of my favorite bakery pastries! The bun tastes even better when you eat them fresh out of the oven!
