I had to replace some lawn mower blades on my mowers, so I decided to throw together this video of how I sharpen lawn mower blades. My blades get hacked up from people running over rocks , stumps, and misc. objects laying around. 90 percent of the time you can save the blades, but they are going to have rough edges from the blows. I show you how to remove the rough edges and sharpen the blade sharp enough to cut the Thanksgiving Turkey.
This isn't the best method but not the worst one either. It gets the job done fast and efficiently. The safety part is up to you, this is how i do it. I do it this way because I m to cheap to buy a lawn mower blade sharpener. I did leave out in this video on how to balance the blades, I will remake this video with that section in it, and I will try to make it a little less boring. Thanks For Watching.
