This Thorpe Park ride will be removed at the end of the 2024 season... Until then it looks to be replaced by a brand NEW scare maze for Fright Nights 2024! Slammer was replaced by Black Mirror Labyrinth in 2021... However slammer remained. At the end of 2024 the ride will be removed and before that the space looks to be used for a scare maze, making four Fright Night mazes at the park. Fright Nights will also provide the chance to ride Hyperia in the dark right through until 9pm! Thorpe Park have also built a roof/covering over SAW the ride's queue line! Slammer closed in 2017 and is rumored to be replaced by a new flat ride as early as the 2025 season! It's rumored that potentially Hyperia's area will expand - Fearless Valley into this potential new area for a flat ride!
