Júlia Nagy is an experienced destination development specialist, awarded the Tourism Professional Role Model - Jr. Imre Papp Memorial Award in 2019. She led tourism organisations in Tokaj and Miskolc, achieving significant growth and positioning in the tourism market. In the field of marketing and communication, she has developed and implemented several nationally award-winning campaigns in recent years, using unique tools and methods to raise awareness of the areas she manages. In her presentation, she introduces I-DEST, the Integrated Tourism Management Software, a solution she developed to simplify sustainable destination management. I-DEST serves as a unified platform, bringing together DMOs, service providers, and visitors, offering modules for sustainability, accessibility, gamification, POI management, and more. Julia invites destinations to join the piloting phase and contribute to a global shift towards sustainable tourism management.
