Janta Dal United and NDA candidate Harivansh Narayan Singh was elected as the new rajya sabha deputy chairperson today defeating the Congress MP BK Hariprasad. While harivansh scored 125 votes, Hariprasad got 105 out of 332 seats.. (speaker- 2:00- 2:30) Let us know more about the newly elected deputy chairman of the Upper House of the Indian Parliament.
